Selection and Integration of a New Pet

Consultations for the family on what type of pet is appropriate for your lifestyle, how to acquire the pet and how to integrate the new pet into the home.

• $150 for initial one-hour assessment session and follow-up one-hour consultation session

• $50 for additional one-hour consultations

 

Transitioning a New Baby into a Dog Home

Consultations for expectant parents on how to prepare themselves, the dog, and the environment for the new baby and how to help the pet adjust to the new baby once he/she arrives.

• $150 for initial one-hour assessment session and follow-up one-hour consultation session

• $50 for additional one-hour consultations

 

Kids and Pets Safety Management

Consultations to discuss safety concerns for kids and pets and develop a plan to decrease the risk.

• $150 for initial one-hour assessment session and follow-up one-hour consultation session

• $50 for additional one-hour consultations

 

Pet Care and Safety Classes

• "Be a Tree" Dog Bite Prevention presentation for Elementary School aged children.

• "I Speak Doggie" Dog Bite Prevention presentation for Preschool Aged Children.

• "I Love Dogs" pet care and safety class that can be tailored for kids 3 - 12 years old.

• "Dog + Baby" class for new and expectant parents.

• "Dogs + Kids" class for dog owners whose dogs interact with children

• Pet Care Workshops - on the many responsibilities required when caring for a dog or cat. Topics to be discussed include when and which pet to select, laws, safety, finances, veterinary care, behavior and training etc...​
  
  Classes are held at facilities around Chicago. To book a class at your facility: $50 per class that is offered for free to your participants or a split of registration fees. $25 cancellation fee with less than 48 hours notice.
